History+
The origins of Charlottenthal Manor date back to 1843, when it was built by master builder Theodor Krüger for the Christian Wilhelm Engel family. The building was constructed in the Tudor Gothic style. From 1898, the estate became a stud farm under the direction of General von Schmidt-Pauli. A turning point occurred in 1945 when the then owners were dispossessed and expelled by the communists.
