Herrenhaus Dannenwalde, a historic manor and estate house, is located in Dannenwalde, a district of Gransee in Brandenburg, Germany. It is an example of late 17th-century architecture, with its current appearance shaped by changes made in 1937.

History+

The origins of the Dannenwalde estate likely date back to the early Middle Ages, when it was a knightly fiefdom owned by the von Priegnitz family. After the 15th century, ownership changed hands, including to the Mecklenburg noble families Buch and Kosboth. In 1692, the Brandenburg family von Waldow acquired the estate, which remained in their possession until its expropriation in 1945. Figures associated with the estate include the Prussian politician Wilhelm von Waldow.
