Gervershagen Manor (Marienheide)

The first mention of Gervershagen as a Cologne allodial estate dates back to 1289. In the 17th century, the property came into the possession of the Lords of Neuhoff, called Ley, through marriage, taking it over from the von Möllenbeck family. Still in the same century, the estate changed hands again and was acquired by the Counts of Schwarzenberg. In the 19th century, the Count of Merveldt sold the properties belonging to Gimborn, which presumably included Gervershagen. After several changes of ownership, the manor house became the property of the Counts of Spee zu Schloss Heltorf around 1870.
