The Hainrode Manor House, also known as Wöbelsburg, is a manor and estate house situated on the southeastern edge of Hainrode in Thuringia. Its origins date back to the 12th century, but the architecture of the 16th century is defining.

History+

The initial construction phase of the Hainrode Manor House is attributed to the 12th century. The building acquired its current appearance predominantly in the 16th century. Following German reunification, the manor house underwent minor expansions. During the GDR era and until 1997, it housed an orphanage. The listed property was once owned by the von Bila family and is now owned by the State of Thuringia.
