The period after 1918 brought significant changes. The estate was acquired by the well-known industrialist Hugo Stinnes. His ownership marked a phase of economic importance and integration into a larger industrial context. However, this era came to an abrupt end in 1945 with the expropriation of the property. This event was a direct consequence of the political and social upheavals after the Second World War.

After the expropriation, the manor house and the associated lands were managed as a Volksgut (people's estate) and later by an LPG (agricultural production cooperative). This period was characterized by collective agriculture and a focus on socialist economic principles. The building served various purposes, often related to the administrative and economic needs of the cooperative.

The political changes of 1989/1990 brought a new turning point. In 1991, the property was taken over by the Stadtgut Görlitz GmbH. This step initiated a phase of restructuring and efforts to preserve and revitalize the historic building. A decisive step in this direction was the privatization in 2006, carried out by the managing director of the GmbH. This privatization opened up new possibilities for the renovation and future use of the manor house, aiming to preserve its historical substance while adapting it to modern requirements.

Today, the manor house in Görlitz stands as an impressive example of architectural history and a monument to the changing times. Its history, from an outwork to a representative manor house, through periods of industrial ownership, expropriation, and collective management, to its current private ownership, reflects a significant part of German history. It remains an important landmark in Görlitz, telling stories of past generations and their lives.
