History of the Manor House+
The manor house in Lübbenau, a historic building with a rich past, has undergone numerous changes and served various purposes throughout the centuries. Its history dates back to the early Middle Ages, with the first documented mention of a settlement in the area.

- Around 981, the first documented mention of an oppidum Liubanici, also known as Mulde-Burgward, appears.

Over the centuries, the manor house changed hands many times, with various noble families and prominent individuals leaving their mark on its architecture and history.
- Owners of the manor house included: the von Schönfeld family (around 1726); the von Grünberg family (around 1830); the Bauermeister family.
- Around 1900, it was owned by the Counts of Hohenthal.
Modern Era and Current Use+
In the 20th century, the manor house adapted to changing societal needs, serving different functions before its most recent renovation.
- After 1945, it was used, among other things, as a nursing home.
- 2004: Renovation work and continued use as a nursing home.
