In the municipality of Mönkhagen in the Stormarn district, Herrenhaus Mönkhagen is a manor house, an example of early Historicism in Schleswig-Holstein.
History+
The manor house was constructed around 1870 under Ernst August Becker. In the late 1980s, this listed building was slated for demolition. A renovation was completed in 1995, saving the manor house and restoring it to its current condition.

Today, the manor house is privately owned. It stands on an approximately 10,000 square meter park-like property, adorned with two small ponds.
