In Lübbecke, Herrenhaus Obernfelde is a historic manor house on the northern slope of the Wiehengebirge. It is a former knight's estate, whose history dates back to the 16th century and remains in private ownership to this day.

History+

The first documented mention of the Obernfelde estate dates to around 1540. In 1730, the property came into the possession of the von Korff family, who provided district administrators in the Minden region during the 18th century. Another turning point occurred in 1818 when Eberhard Freiherr von der Reck acquired the estate.
