History of the Building+
The history of the building is long and eventful. Here are the most important milestones:
- First mentioned in the 14th century as property of Reichenbach
- Subsequently owned by the von Gersdorff family
- Since 1786 owned by the von Kiesewetter family
- 1843 Auction
- 1848 a part of the manor burned down and was rebuilt
- During this time, the manor house was rebuilt
- 1908 last alterations to the manor house by the Hanspach family
- 1945 not expropriated, remained in the possession of the Hanspach family (until their flight in 1957)
- Subsequent expropriation and management by LPG (Agricultural Production Cooperative)
- After reunification, restitution claims of the Hanspach family were positively decided
- Today renovated and back in family ownership
