Ottersleben Manor
The Ottersleben Manor House, also known as the Böckelmann Villa, is a historic estate in Magdeburg-Ottersleben. It was built in the late 19th century and now serves as a youth education center.
History+
The construction of the Ottersleben Manor House took place in 1893. The builder was Wilhelm August Böckelmann, a manufacturer, farmer, and owner of a knight's estate. After the end of World War II, in 1945, the then owners were dispossessed. During the GDR era, the manor house became a youth hostel.
