In Purschwitz, a manor house was first mentioned in 1242. In the 15th century, the estate was owned by the Lords of Doberschütz. In 1503, the property was referred to as a knight's seat, and from 1589 as a knight's estate, which now belonged to Melchior von Kalkreuth.
