The Quolsdorf Manor House, an estate and manor, is located in the village of the same name in Saxony and now provides residential space.

History+

Quolsdorf was first documented in 1390 when Nickel von Rothenburg acquired judicial shares of the village. From 1479, the Ullersdorf line of the von Nostitz family held feudal suzerainty over the village. The Quolsdorf knight's estate is verifiable since 1588 and exercised manorial rights over the surrounding lands. Pond farming on the estate made the location known regionally for its Quolsdorf tench and leather carp. The manor house itself was constructed around 1780.
