In the municipality of Täby, Sweden, Såstaholm Manor is an estate that now serves as a hotel and conference center. Originally built as a summer residence, it evolved into a refuge for actors and is now a place of hospitality with a connection to the world of theater.

History+

The history of the land where Såstaholm stands dates back to the 16th century, when it was used for agriculture. In 1903, a summer house in Art Nouveau style was built here by Max Sievert. In 1917, the Höstsol Foundation acquired the property and used it as a retirement home for needy, retired actors.
