To be privately owned
Scheda Manor (Wickede)

The Scheda Estate belonged to Scheda Monastery until its dissolution in 1809. The remaining domain was owned by Heinrich Friedrich Karl vom Stein since 1823. Since 1825, the possessions were a manor. Together with the former Cappenberg Monastery, it formed a noble lordship since 1826. Through marriage to vom Stein's daughter Therese, Ludwig Ferdinand Graf von Kielmannsegg became the owner of the estates.
Today, only the Monk's Walk on the grounds reminds of the former monastery. What remains is the Scheda Estate, which, however, has shrunk to 120 hectares in the past. In May 2011, entrepreneur Walter P. J. Droege of the Droege International Group acquired it.
