History+
The origins of the Seegalendorf estate date back to the late 16th century. Initially, like the Putlos estate, it was part of the possessions of the Rantzau family. In the mid-18th century, the estate passed into the hands of the von Rumohr family. The original manor house, a single-story half-timbered building with two red brick cavalier wings, was constructed towards the end of the 18th century. A renovation took place in 1839: the original main building was replaced by a late-classical new construction, while the cavalier wings have been preserved to this day.
