Herrenhaus Stockelsdorf, a manor house in Schleswig-Holstein, is a landmark of the municipality of Stockelsdorf. It is characterized by its simple elegance of red brick and a central risalit.

History+

The construction of the manor house took place in 1761 by Georg Nicolaus Lübbers, who acquired the Stockelsdorf estate in the same year. An older manor house was demolished for the new building. Lübbers later also founded the Stockelsdorf faience manufactory. After his death, the property passed to the merchant and later Lübeck mayor Friedrich Nölting through the marriage of his daughter Maria Catharina. Subsequently, the estate changed hands several times until it was acquired by the municipality of Stockelsdorf in 1950.
