North of Falköping, Stora Bjurum Manor is now one of the most significant properties in the Skaraborg region.
History+
The origins of Stora Bjurum can be traced back to the Middle Ages. The medieval manor house was replaced by a new stone building in the mid-18th century. In 1870, the building underwent renovation in the historicist style, based on designs by architect Helgo Zettervall. A church from the 18th century, originally part of the estate, is located approximately one kilometer away on the southern shore of Lake Hornborgasjön.
