Uninhabited

The owner of the manor in Stresow in the 19th century was the von Wulffen family, who sold the estate to Ernst Gaertner in 1887. Between 1905 and 1907, he had the manor house rebuilt, along with the stable buildings, barns, and workers' houses. With the death of Mrs. Gaertner in 1942, the property fell to the district of Jerichow. Briefly in 1945, a military hospital was housed in the castle until the occupation by the Red Army. From then until 1946, the Soviet Military Administration (SMAD) used it as a supply depot. From 1950 to 1990, it finally served as an apprentice dormitory. Since 1990, the building has been vacant and awaits a buyer.
