Nursing home

Herrenhaus Teicha, a manor house, is located in the village of the same name in Saxony. It represents the history of rural aristocratic residences and their transformation, from a private estate to its current social function.

History+

The manorial lordship over the village of Teicha shifted in the early 16th century from Daubitz to an independent knight's estate in Teicha, which governed the place from at least 1532. For a long time, the estate was owned by the von Nostitz family before passing to the von Luttitz family in 1738. The current manor house was built in 1840. In 1908, Martin Brauns acquired the property and initiated a redesign of the manor house in 1919.
