Teicha Manor

Until the beginning of the 16th century, the village still belonged to the Daubitz manor, and from 1532 at the latest, it was administered by the Teicha knight's estate. The estate was owned by the von Nostitz family, and from 1738 by the von Luttitz family. The manor house was built in 1840.

In 1908, Martin Brauns bought the estate and had the manor house redesigned in 1919. In 1945, the Görlitz cloth manufacturer Lehmann bought the estate, where he set up a restaurant with weekly dance and cinema events. From 1948, the manor house was leased to the district, which housed a tuberculosis sanatorium there. The building became public property in 1957 and served from 1966 to 1990 as an outpatient clinic of the Weißwasser hospital for the care of up to 40 chronically ill patients. Today, after renovation, it serves as a nursing home.
