Wichmannsdorf Manor

The manor house was built in 1909-11 by the architect Paul Korff for Sophie von Oertzen. She died in 1930 and the property passed to her daughter Eleonore von Oertzen. She left the property to her son Hans von Wilamowitz-Möllendorf. In 1945, the owners were dispossessed and expelled by the communists. Afterwards, a school was established in the house. Later, VEB Ludwigsfelde used the building. During this time, the existing interior structure was sustainably destroyed. The new "masters" had no sense for the history of the building.

After the Ludwigsfelde combine went bankrupt in 1992, the ownership question was unclear. A long legal dispute began. In 2002, the now heavily dilapidated building could finally be sold. The new owner renovated it.
