Wichtringhausen Manor, a manor and estate house, is located in the Hanover region of Lower Saxony.

History+

The origins of the Wichtringhausen knightly estate lie in a fief granted by the Counts of Schaumburg. Around the year 1600, Otto von Reden, the then fief holder, was granted lower jurisdiction over the estate. In 1743, the property changed hands and was acquired by Georg Reinhard Langwerth von Simmern.
