History of the Manor House+
The Free Estate was first mentioned in 1776 under its owner Johann George Schill, who acquired it from the predecessor, Christiane Friederika Henriette von Staubitz, through his feudal tenant Mr. Albrecht. In 1777, he sold it on to the Court Commissioner Nicolaus Victor Mühlberger, although Schill did not leave the estate until 1780. In the same year, the owner of the knight's estate of Possendorf acquired it; it gained the right to keep records. It was an estate of about 1.7/8 Hufen (30 ha), where Ferdinand Baptista von Schill was born on January 6, 1776. Between the upper Poisenhäuser and the Vorwerk, there was a brickworks belonging to the estate in the Poisenwald. In 1863, Carl Friedrich August Dathe von Burgk acquired the estate. In 1945, the owners were dispossessed and expelled by the communists. Today, only the manor house remains. The complex serves the Golf Club Dresden-Elbflorenz.
