Highgrove House is a country estate in Doughton in Gloucestershire, England. It is the private residence of Prince Charles and is distinguished by its gardens and the ecological management of the estate.

History+

The construction of Highgrove House took place between 1796 and 1798, commissioned by John Paul Paul. Following a fire in 1894, the property underwent renovations. In the autumn of 1981, Prince Charles moved into the house with his then-wife Diana after remodeling. In 1988, Prince Charles had the exterior facade of the ground floor redesigned according to his own plans and added an extension for staff.
