The Himmeroder Adelshof in Ürzig on the Middle Moselle is a historic manor and estate house whose origins date back to the 16th century. It is a remarkable example of the architecture of its time and has been redesigned several times over the centuries, while preserving its original character.

History+

The Himmeroder Hof was built in 1574. Originally, the estate served as an economic court for Himmerod Abbey. Of the former building complex, only the residential house from the founding year has been preserved. In 1822, the house underwent a renovation, and at the end of the 19th century, specifically in 1898, it received an elaborate Neo-Renaissance facade. These embellishments still characterize the appearance of the manor today.
