The Hohenecker Hof in Bensheim an der Bergstraße is a manor and estate house. As a cultural monument, it combines Baroque elements with Neo-Gothic alterations.
History+
The origins of the Hohenecker Hof trace back to an older property, once owned by the Lords of Walbrunn and later by Lieutenant General Johann Rudolf Victor von Pretlack. In 1756, Johann Franz Baron von Hoheneck, Dean of Mainz Cathedral, had the current manor house built. Around 1900, the descendants of a pharmacist, who had acquired the property in 1884, carried out renovations in the Neo-Gothic style.
