Hollenburg Castle is an expansive fortified complex in the Rosental valley, on a rocky southern slope of the Sattnitz mountain range towards the Drava river. It is located in Krumpendorf am Wörthersee-Hollenburg, Carinthia, Austria.

The origins of Hollenburg likely date back to 860, when a curtis ad Trahoven was mentioned at this site. The current castle was probably built around 1100 by ministeriales of the Styrian margraves, and a noble family named Hollenburger is documented as early as 1142. With the expansion of the trade route over the Loibl Pass in the 13th century, the castle gained importance. Its owners, including the Pettauer and Stubenberger families, maintained a relationship with Viktring Abbey, marked by both conflicts and donations, such as the Gothic stained-glass windows of the abbey church.
