Weinetsberg Castle

To be privately owned

Above Bad Hofgastein lies the Jagdschlössl Weinetsberg, a listed building. This historic estate in the Salzburg region was constructed at the beginning of the 20th century and once served as a country house, later as a meeting place, before passing into private ownership.

The Jagdschlössl Weinetsberg was built between 1904 and 1905 in the Weinetsberg district, above the Tauernbahn, which was under construction at the time. Originally designed as a country house, it featured twelve rooms and a salon. For a short period, it was known as “Tivoli”. In the 1970s, the building housed a discotheque as well as a dance and nightclub.
