Pfullingen Hunting Lodge, also known as Rempenburg, is a building erected on the foundations of a former moated castle in Pfullingen, Reutlingen district. It once served as a hunting and residential seat for the Dukes of Württemberg and now houses a school.

History+

The origins of the hunting lodge lie in a moated castle, presumably built before 1260, which served as the seat of the Remp von Pfullingen family, first mentioned in documents from 1260. In 1487, the last descendant of this family sold the castle to the Dukes of Württemberg. Duke Christoph commissioned the construction of a hunting lodge on this site between 1560 and 1565.
