Geschichte+
A Vorwerk in Zeititz is first mentioned in 1606. In 1696, the estate was elevated to a knight's estate. For a long time, the estate was owned by the Counts of Lindenau. In 1806, Carl Graf von Lindenau sold the property to the Schnetger family, who sold it in 1893 to Baron Wolf von Arnim. From 1893-95, the current hunting lodge was built on the walls of the predecessor building. After this, the property changed hands in 1905 to Mrs. von Arnim-Peres, later to Hanskarl von Arnim-Peres, and in 1933 to the Leipzig publisher Köhler und Frenzel. In 1945, the owners were dispossessed and expelled by the communists. After the war, a TBC home and later a recreation home were established in the castle. Today, several condominiums are set up in the castle.
