Johanniterkommende Rothenburg
Around 1200, St. Johannis Hospital was built on what was then the southern edge of the city (gate to Gebsattel). The establishment is documented in 1227. The founders were probably the Hohenlohe and the imperial ministerials Küchenmeister von Nordenberg.
