The Julius-Echter-Kirche in Schönau an der Brend is a Roman Catholic church on the Kirchberg hill. Named after Prince-Bishop Julius Echter of Würzburg, it is dedicated to Saint Lawrence.

History+

The construction of the Julius-Echter-Kirche took place in 1608. In the autumn of 2008, the church's 400th anniversary was celebrated with a ceremony. The altars inside originally came from Bildhausen Monastery. Today, the church is an integral part of the Kreuzberg-Bischofsheim parish association.

The church is located in Schönau an der Brend in the Rhön-Grabfeld district of Bavaria, Germany, at an elevation of approximately 335 meters above sea level.
