Kloster Arenberg, a foundation of the Dominican Sisters, is a religious center in Koblenz-Arenberg. It is situated in the pilgrimage site of Arenberg and is known for its integration into the Pfarrer-Kraus-Anlagen, a 19th-century landscape bible.

History+

The Dominican Sisters settled in Arenberg in 1864. Pastor Johann Baptist Kraus initiated their call to ensure the maintenance of the pilgrimage facilities named after him. In the past, the monastery also served as a sanatorium dedicated to Kneipp medicine. Today, it has evolved into an educational and recreational center, combining religious contemplation with various offerings.

Kloster Arenberg is located in the Koblenz-Arenberg district of the city of Koblenz, in the federal state of Rhineland-Pfalz, Germany. It stands at an elevation of approx. 235 m above sea level and has been part of the UNESCO World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley as its northernmost point since 2002.
