Ermita de Sant Honorat

The origins of the monastery date back to 1394, when Knight Arnau Desbrull, who had lived as a hermit on Mount Randa for thirty years, received permission from the Bishop of Mallorca to erect a chapel in honor of Saint Honorat. Due to its poor condition, the original chapel was replaced by a new building in 1670, which stands to this day. Only a stone tablet above the entrance portal remains from the initial structure. The current monastery building was founded in 1890 by brothers of the "Missioneros de los Sagrados Coracones".
