The Crusader Castle Cola, also known as Qula, is a historic fortress ruin in Israel. Located approximately 14 kilometers northeast of Ramla, it stands as a testament to the Crusader presence in the region.

History+

The first documented mention of Cola Castle dates back to 1181. At this time, the Order of the Hospital acquired the fortress and its surrounding area from Hugh of Flanders. The order subsequently used the facility for the production of foodstuffs intended for the hospital in Jerusalem.

The ruins of Crusader Castle Cola are situated in Elʿad, in the Central District of Israel, at an elevation of approximately 85 meters above sea level.

Today, visitors can explore the remains of the castle ruin. Portions of a tower and another castle building have been preserved, offering insight into the fortress's original structure.
