The historic manor house Lemferdinge, a stately country estate, is located in the Dutch province of Drenthe. It is a remarkable example of the region's rural architecture and boasts a long history dating back to the 15th century.

The first documented mention of Lemferdinge dates back to 1447, when it was owned by the Ter Borch family from Eelde. In 1653, Joost van Welvelde acquired the property. Later, around 1720, Lemferdinge passed into the possession of Samuel Nijsingh. Another significant change of ownership occurred when the French General Jean Baptiste Dumonceau took over the manor house.
