Mallow Castle

The Mallow Castle is located in Mallow, County Cork in southwest Ireland. It was built in the last decade of the 17th Century by the family Norrey partly with the stones that were incurred in the fire of the old castle in 1689. The new castle was until 1984 owned by the descendants of Sir Thomas Norreys daughter Elizabeth. Today it is owned by the family McGinn from Washington DC, which has turned it into a hotel.
