Martinsturm Castle

The noble residential tower was built in the first half of the 13th century. In the first half of the 14th century, a small chapel was built on the upper floor. In 1362, the Chapel of St. Martin was founded and expanded by the Counts of Montfort. From 1599 to 1601, the tower was raised and fitted with an onion dome. From 1701 to 1705, the nave was added. Today, the tower is used as a viewpoint.
