Moserhof Castle

The Moserhof-Schlössl, a historic city palace in Graz-Jakomini, Styria, features late Renaissance architecture. It is situated on the edge of the Mur terrace and was once a noble residence.

The building, known today as Moserhof-Schlössl, bore the name “Hof zu Harmsdorf” at the end of the 14th century. In 1580, Ludwig Camillo Suardo commissioned a renovation. From 1598, the property was called “Spanhof” and formed the center of a small dominion of the Suardo family. Later, the territorial sovereign permitted its renaming to “Müntzgraben”.
