The New Castle in Büdesheim is a modern castle complex. It is located in the vicinity of the Old Castle Büdesheim and combines Neo-Renaissance elements with simpler forms.

History+

The construction of the New Castle took place in 1885. The builder was Waldemar Graf von Oriola, who had previously resided in the Old Castle. The architect Gabriel von Seidl was responsible for the design of the building. After a period in the possession of the State of Hesse, during which the castle temporarily served as a refugee shelter, it is now used privately again.
