New Castle Ingelfingen

Town hall

In the town of Ingelfingen stands the New Castle Ingelfingen, also known as Hohenlohe Castle. The Baroque building once served as the residence of the Counts of Hohenlohe and is now a central point of urban life.

History+

The construction of the castle took place in 1701 under the Counts of Hohenlohe, who used it as their residence until 1962. After its acquisition by the town of Ingelfingen in the same year, the building initially stood empty. A renovation in 1984 and 1985 allowed for its transformation into the current town hall, while preserving the historic structure.
