New Castle Wehr
The New Castle Wehr, also known as Schönausches Schloss, is a structure in the town of Wehr in the district of Waldshut. Originally built as a manor house, it now serves as the town hall.
History+
The Barons of Schönau, who had already built the old castle of Wehr, had the New Castle erected in 1748 as a manor house. In 1825, the building was extended with an additional floor. For a century now, the castle has housed the municipal administration of Wehr.

Today, the New Castle Wehr serves as the town hall. Visitors can admire the partially preserved Rococo stucco work in the interiors.
