New Castle Wehr
The New Castle Wehr, also called Schönau Castle, is a castle in the city of Wehr in the district of Waldshut in Baden-Württemberg.
The castle is located in Wehr at Hauptstraße 16. Built in 1748 by the Barons of Schönau, builders of the old Wehr Castle, as a manor house, the castle was extended in 1825 and has been the city hall for 100 years. The interior rooms of the castle partly feature ceilings with charming Rococo stucco work.
