The New Castle in Weißenhorn, also known as Fugger Castle, was built by the Fugger family. It is currently used as a monastery and boarding school.

History+

The construction of the New Castle took place in 1513 and 1514 under Jakob Fugger. An architectural change occurred in 1735 when the castle was enlarged by an additional floor and expansion. Later, the building served as a Franciscan convent and housed a boarding school.

The New Castle is located in Weißenhorn in the district of Neu-Ulm in Bavaria, Germany. It is situated at an elevation of approximately 498 meters above sea level.
