Obergut Lenthe+
The Obergut Lenthe is first mentioned in 1304 as being owned by the von Lenthe family. From 1591-1600, the manor house was rebuilt on the walls of the old moated castle. The Obergut is still owned by the von Lenthe family.
On the Obergut in Lenthe stands the tenant's house, the birthplace of Werner von Siemens, who spent part of his childhood here as the son of the estate tenant Christian Ferdinand Siemens.
