The ruins of the Old Mallow Castle is in Mallow, County Cork in southwest Ireland. The origin lies in an old fort, which was built 1185th. The castle was built in 15th Century and restored in the late 16th century by Sir Thomas Norreys, Lord President of Munster. 1689 the castle burned down and was never rebuilt.
