The Orangerieschloss Cappel, a palace, was built in the 18th century with an extensive park. It is located in Öhringen-Cappel.
History+
Count Johann Friedrich I had the Orangerieschloss Cappel built in 1736. Originally, the south side of the building was fully glazed, which gave it its name. After 1800, this facade underwent a redesign and was replaced by a classical front with round-arch windows, which remains characteristic today. In the 19th century, the princely house sold the palace, park, and associated lands. Subsequently, further buildings for economic and residential purposes were constructed on the site.
