The Co-Cathedral of St. Adalbert is a Roman Catholic church of the Diocese of Elbląg in Prabuty, Poland (German Riesenburg).

History+

The church was built from 1310 to 1330 by Bishop Rudolf von Pomesanien in the Teutonic Order State in the Brick Gothic style, modeled after the cathedral in Marienwerder. In 1525, the church became Protestant and was used as a German city church (alongside a Polish country church). The church was rebuilt in the 19th century in the Neo-Gothic style and burned to the ground by Soviet troops in 1945 during World War II. Reconstruction only took place from 1981 to 1983. Since 1992, the now Catholic church has been elevated to the rank of a co-cathedral.
