The Älterer Dalberger Hof in Mainz is a historic residence, currently used as a girls' school. The building, once owned by the Barons of Dalberg, presents a blend of late Gothic and Renaissance elements.

History+

The origins of the estate date back to 1463, when the predecessor building, the "Zum Roten Haus" courtyard, passed into the possession of the Counts of Eppstein-Königstein and was subsequently known as Königsteiner Hof. A late Gothic residential tower with a former chapel from this period has been preserved. In 1597, the Barons of Dalberg acquired the property, which then took on their name.
