Palais du Pharo

The Palais du Pharo was built in 1858 as a summer residence for Napoleon III. Today, it houses a hotel.

The construction of the Pharo Palace began in 1852 under the direction of architect Hector Lefuel. The building was completed in 1858 and served as a prestigious residence for the imperial family.
