Geverdeshof Palais

Geverdeshof Palais

To be privately owned

The Geverdeshof was first mentioned in a document in 1344. From 1420 to 1455, the estate was owned by the Italian merchant and banker Gherardo Bueri, in the 16th century by the Grawert family, in 1560 by the von Stiten family, and from 1599 by the von Wickede family. Around 1779, the estate was completely rebuilt under L. H. von Höveln. From the end of the 19th century, the building was used as a production site by the company of Georg Carl Hahn. In 2010, the company was acquired by the British food manufacturer Tate & Lyle.
