Known as Palais Arco, the Palais Gise is a residence in Munich, embodying the style of the late Rococo. It is distinguished by its facade, which has been preserved to this day despite war damage.

History+

The construction of the Palais Gise dates back to around 1760/65, with the designs likely attributed to Carl Albrecht von Lespilliez, then Munich's chief court architect. Its design shows influences from François de Cuvilliés, whose student Lespilliez was. Initially, the Palais was owned by the Counts of Taufkirchen before passing to the Counts of Arco in 1731.
